Endowed Chair of Nursing Education

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, we are seeking an Endowed Chair of Nursing to serve as a role model to create and sustain an exceptional learning environment for students and faculty.  You will facilitate collaborative education and research within Resurrection Health Care; provide service activities to the local and professional healthcare community; and provide classroom and practicum instruction. Providing assistance to the Dean of Nursing in the curriculum design through planning for the development and implementation of specific course offerings will be another key responsibility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctorate required.  Master in Nursing required.  Experienced faculty member who excels in teaching and research.  Current licensure to practice nursing in the state of Illinois.  Record of publication and national involvement in nursing education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Teaching and research experience.
