POSITION:

Assistant Professor of Nursing, Full-Time, Tenure-Track

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position is responsible for clinical and theory teaching assignments in Medical-Surgical Nursing as well as Nursing Fundamentals.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with fellow faculty in the new, state-of-the-art Health Careers Center for Excellence, and with the human patient simulator, I-STAN.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Illinois RN license, a minimum of two years current clinical nursing experience, and a master’s degree in nursing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior teaching in a college setting and experience in Medical, Surgical, and critical care is preferred. Prior experience as an excellent, innovative teacher and with the use of instructional technologies is desirable.
