POSITION:

Pediatric Nurse Educator -
Instructor or Assistant Professor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching and clinical supervision of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students in pediatric nursing courses and other undergraduate & graduate courses, as needed; academic advising, ongoing scholarly productivity; and participation in committee work, public service, and professional organizations expected. Faculty Practice opportunity in the college's nurse-managed Health & Wellness Center .

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN); recent clinical experience in children and family nursing with recent teaching/clinical experience at the undergraduate level; strong health assessment skills; current active RN license with eligibility for Illinois licensure. The successful candidate must have a demonstrable commitment to the teacher/scholar model; public and university service; and a culturally diverse learning environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctoral degree
