Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty |
RESPONSIBILITIES: |
Supervision of students in clinical learning experiences: Selection of patient population in relation to established course outcomes, supervision of direct care by 8-10 students in a clinical group, processing of learning activities with students during pre and post-conference, evaluating student learning according to established criteria, interacting with health care agency staff, collaborating with full-time instructor. |
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN); IL licensure as RN; 2 years recent experience in clinical nursing practice; expertise in clinical area of instruction; appreciation of working with a diverse student population; demonstrated interest in enhancing clinical teaching skills. |
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: |
Previous academic teaching experience. |
