RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this position you will demonstrate excellence in teaching; commit to integrating new technology in the learning process; and; inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Position requires current or past experience in medial surgical, adult care nursing, and individuals with the following experiences are needed:

   • Family nursing, including maternal child health and pediatrics
   • Psychiatric and gerontology nursing
   • Fundamentals of nursing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

   • Be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Illinois
   • Earned masters degree with a major in nursing
   • Current clinical practice in area(s) defined
   • Teaching experience desired.
   In addition to the minimum requirements, you must be focused on effective teaching; assessment of student learning; and continuous growth in the field of study.  We also value expertise in student-centered teaching; facility with instructional technology, including Blackboard Learning Management System; and a commitment to professional development in teaching.
