RESPONSIBILITIES: |
The Millikin University School of Nursing invites applications for two faculty positions to support the implementation of the new Master’s Entry into Nursing Practice (MENP) program. Teaching opportunities exist in the BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, and/or MENP programs. The positions are tenure track appointments, with initial rank and salary commensurate with educational preparation and professional experience. These positions require strong theory and clinical teaching ability. Applicants with expertise in more than one area are especially encouraged to apply. |
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |
The candidate must hold an earned doctorate (or be near completion of the doctoral degree) and a master's degree in nursing. In addition, the candidate must have superior communication skills, demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities, and strong evidence of understanding current issues and trends in professional practice. A strong background in medical-surgical nursing is preferred for two of the positions. Candidates must have the potential for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and university service. Candidates must hold or obtain nursing licensure in the state of Illinois. |
